MSU Denver President Stephen Jordan has held the annual Welcome Back breakfast every fall since he came to the University in 2005. Now he’s bringing that concept to the spring semester, with the President’s Spring Update.

All faculty and staff are invited to join their colleagues for breakfast and a presentation and Q &A session with Jordan on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 7:30-9:30 a.m., in the King Center Concert Hall.

“Dr. Jordan wants to provide the University community with an additional communication avenue for us to learn about the progress of his important initiatives and to inform faculty and staff about issues such as the budget,” says Cathy Lucas, associate to the president for marketing and communications/chief of staff.

Among the topics Jordan will discuss are the ASSET bill just introduced in the Colorado legislature and the HSI initiative. He will also discuss the potential for a third new building in the MSU Denver neighborhood, following the completion of the Student Success Building and the Hotel and Hospitality Learning Center.
