Description:
Canoe on spectacular Dillon Reservoir. Challenges include GPS, cooking
and first aid.
Objectives:
Teamwork, safety, skill acquisition, working together, setting priorities,
developing coping skills, enhancing communication, understanding
our participants, understanding physical challenges, planning, gear
awareness and OAC shop work experience.
The
Challenge:
Plan the outing – work together to create gear list, meeting
times, transportation, etc.
Meet
at the Shop and follow these instructions:
Drive to 39° 34.28N 106° 03.19W - Complete the challenge
(Take I-70 west to State Highway 9 south to County Road 985)
Paddle to 39° 35.01N 106° 03.38W - Complete the challenge
Paddle to 39° 35.95N 106° 03.58W - Lunch and complete the
challenge
Paddle to 39° 34.70N 106° 05.29W - Complete the challenge
Return to Campus, clean and return gear
