Field Investigation and Expeditionary Team -- F.I.E.T.

Investigators wanted.

In addition to educating the public, one of the main goals of the Crypto Science Society is to study phenomenon first hand. This is the mission of the Field Investigation and Expeditionary Team. Like our colleagues, we thoroughly scrutinize all evidence and investigate each case with open minded objectivity. We also use a diverse array of methods and tools for collecting data.

Basic Tools include:
Various types of flash lights, with red and blue filters,
Video camera with night shot,
Still camera, various types of film, as well as digital,
Audio recorder, both magnetic tape and digital,
Vision aids such as binoculars and magnifying glass,
Compass,
Magnets,
Tape measure,
Portable black light, certain specimens fluoresce under black light,
Strobe light, some orbs have been seen with the naked eye using strobe lights,
Maps, charts, and diagrams,
Location markers,
Glass and paper containers for sample collections (plastic can alter certain tests)

Although unconventional, we also employ dousing and remote viewing as a means of data collection as both can be very effective tools. Pendulums and L rods are used as well.

Every investigation is documented in a report, which includes witness interview, data catalog, final conclusion and information release consent.
