The Illuminator dedicated to Golda Meir, is a track on the new Ron Miles CD Stone/Blossom from Sterling Circle Records. In 1956, Golda took the name "Meir" which means to illuminate.
Miles who frequently peforms with gutarist Bill Frisell and singer Madeleine Peyroux, teaches at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and is widely considered among the top new players on trumpet and cornet.
