The History Department serves thousands of Metro State students, whether they are seeking General Studies Level II credit, pursuing a History major or minor, fulfilling teaching licensure requirements, or satisfying intellectual curiosity.
With more than 25 full-time professors and a large pool of dedicated affiliate faculty members, the Department offers a wide variety of courses such as Native Americans in American History, Ireland and the Irish, History of China, and History of India. Students may be interested in joining either the History Club or the Phi Psi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honor society. Additional information may be found under the Student Resources link above.
