What is an Honors Course?
All Honors courses have the following characteristics:
- Interdisciplinary topics and approaches;
- A commitment to the advancement of written expression;
- A focus on primary texts or source materials;
- An emphasis on student engagement and discussion.
Some Honors courses are cross listed with other Metro State courses. All students within an Honors section will work at the same level whether they are in the Honors Program or not. There will not be differing standards of evaluation or assessment in cross listed courses.
