As members of the Honors Program, Honors Students are able to compete for an Honors Scholarship. The Honors Program awards many academic scholarships each semester.

Dear Honors Students,
There are Honors scholarships available for Spring Semester 2009 (President’s Academic Achievement Awards). We encourage you to apply for a scholarship through the Honors office. All recipients must meet the criteria established by the Metro scholarship office:
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
Resident of Colorado for tuition purposes
Degree seeking student
Cannot have prior Bachelors degree
3.50 Cumulative GPA for continuing Metro Students
3.50 Cumulative GPA from last school attended for H.S. or incoming Transfers
Minimum 6 credit hours of enrollment for Spring 2009 (not just HON courses)
Student must be meeting OFA Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
Student cannot be in default or owe any refund/repayment of federal, state or institutional aid.
In addition, students must be progressing within the Honors Program
