Policy Notice

Dear Colleagues:

As you may know, the College is evaluating its policies, procedures, practices and technology assure that personal data in our possession is reasonably secure and that the recent security breach will not be repeated. While that review is pending, I am requiring that all research that requires downloading of files containing social security numbers be submitted to my office for approval as an interim security measure. Employees who propose or initiate such research, and those who perform such research, must receive my written approval before beginning the work.
