MetroNet Wireless Network

Metro State College of Denver provides wireless network access to the following buildings:

  • Science
  • Central
  • Arts
  • West
  • Plaza

Wireless service is also available in Administration Building Atrium and 7th Street Lounge.

Services will be restricted to basic Internet access (limited to FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, SSH, and VPN access)

Features:

  • Metro State students will be able to access the MetroNet wireless network from their laptops with any standard 802.11b or 802.11g wireless network adapter.
    • A list of wireless network cards that follow the required standards is located at http://www.weca.net/.
  • Setup is simple and does not require a password or encryption key.
