French Area of Emphasis in the B.A. in Modern Languages degree program:
The French Area of Emphasis can be combined with a minor in several Modern Languages degree program options.

Minor in French:
The requirements for the Minor in French are a flexible and exciting option.

French Courses:
Please consult the list of short French course descriptions, all of which are offered on a regular basis. The French Course Rotation may change due to many factors, but can be used for planning.

Certificate of Completion:
There is one Certificate of Completion available in French.

Language Resources:
You are invited to seek out information on the language and culture of French-speaking countries at the French Resources page.

Study Abroad:
MCSD offers a Study Abroad trip to Institut Montpellierain d'Etudes Francaises during the month of June each year.
