The BRNCO is designed for students who have graduated from an Associate Degree or Diploma Nursing Program, have a current U.S. Registered Nurse license and who wish to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

The mission of the Department of Nursing at Metropolitan State College of Denver is to provide a high quality, accessible, enriching education leading to a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Accreditation
The Registered Nurse Completion Option (BRNCO) received initial accreditation from the National League for Nursing in 1976. On-going national accreditation has remained in place through the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) recognized as a national accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. NLNAC granted accreditation to the Accelerated Nursing Option (ACNO) at its inception in 2004.
