Metro State Open House  
Metropolitan State College of Denver Open House is scheduled by the Office of Admissions and information is posted on the homepage of Metro State College @ www.mscd.edu.   T:  303.556.3058

Majors Fair
The Majors Fair is offered by the Office of Academic Advising and is held in the Fall and Spring Semesters.  T: 303.556.3680.

Career and Educational Fairs
Faculty and staff are invited to attend many of the career and educational fairs in and around the Denver-metro area with schools and hospitals. Representatives from the Department of Nursing have attend Health Professions Information Sessions with Friends of Nursing, University of Colorado-Boulder, Denver Health, Littleton Adventist Hospital, Craig Hospital, and Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence to name a few.   

Academic Advising
Due to the overwhelming requests for advising in nursing education, it is suggested that students who are interested in the Accelerated Nursing Program are encouraged to attend the Open House, the Majors Fair or contact the Department of Nursing with specifics questions either by email or telephone.

Students may also contact the Office of Transfer Services for acceptable “transfer” of courses or prerequisite @ 303.556.6605.
 
Students applying for the Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Completion Program are required to contact an academic advisor @ 303.556.3668 or 303.556.4391 prior to applying to the program.

Presentation Requests
Faculty and staff are available to meet and/or attend institutional information sessions to answer questions about the nursing programs with Metropolitan State College of Denver.
