Our Mission
The Office of Student Media is an organization for professional and practical learning; where a diverse student staff produce a weekly student newspaper, an annual student literary and arts magazine, a weekly television broadcast, a radio station with a low power FM transmitter and web-based signal, the annual Student Handbook and various freelance projects for campus community groups.
The Office of Student Media’s mission is to provide an accessible, high-quality learning experiences; where students attain professional and technological skills, develop work habits and histories that lead to success in academic and career goals. Funded in part by student fees, the office generates approximately 1/3 of its budget through advertising and services.
