Behavioral Science Program Goals
The Behavioral Science major is designed to provide students with a broad based multidisciplinary approach to the study of human behavior. Within this major, students are required to specialize in one area and use the remaining electives to design a broader understanding of behavior. Because the major draws from anthropology, economics, history, political science, psychology and sociology, it has become an ideal major for students seeking teacher licensure. With the help of an advisor, students select courses appropriate for their particular interest. It also serves nontraditional students seeking a broad based approach to understand the world in which they live.
