Advising for Social Work Majors 

Call (303) 556-3474 to set up Social Work advising appointments:

  • If you are a MSCD Freshman, Sophomore or have general advising questions,  please make an appointment to see a Social Work peer advisor.

  • If you are a Junior or Senior student who has been accepted into the Social Work Department, please make an appointment with your faculty advisor. Contact the Department for your assigned faculty advisor.

  • If you are a transfer student with Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing, please make an appointment with the Department Chair.

  • If you are seeking career advising, please make an appointment with a Social Work Department faculty advisor.

*Students with difficulty completing MTH1210 should contact the SWK Department for advising. Statistics MUST be completed prior to taking SWK3790.ALL Math classes at Metro State require Accuplacer or appropriate prerequisite classes as described by the Math Department. PSY2310 and MTH1230 do not count towards general studies math credit for graduation. .
