Professional Field
Experience
Social Work majors are required to complete a Professional Field Experience two consecutive semesters of their senior year beginning in the Fall. Students begin the search for a Field Placement in the Spring semester proceeding the Fall in which they begin their Field Placement. The Field Placement requires 240 hours per semester and is accompanied by a 5 credit course each semester, Professional Field Experience I in the Fall and Professional Field Experience II in the Spring. Questions regarding the Field Placement should be directed to Lynn Kaersvang, Social Work Department Field Coordinator.
