Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Student Services Assessment is to promote the development of a culture of assessment of student learning within the Division of Student Services, in which continuous improvement is based on good practices in the field.
Vision
Each of the departments within the Division of Student Services affects the developmental education of the students with whom it interacts. Each department regularly assesses the impact of its programs on the achievement of its chosen learning outcomes. Yearly reports on assessment reflect the ongoing and comprehensive nature of these activities. The conceptual framework for assessment activities is that of Learning Reconsidered.
Director of Student Services Assessment and Technology
The Director of Student Services Assessment and Technology coordinates all assessment of student learning within the division. The Director serves as a resource for all departments and offices.
Student Services Assessment Committee
The Student Services Assessment Committee provides leadership in assessment activities within the division and advocates for adequate resources to provide support to all units as they seek to assess student learning in order to evaluate the effectiveness of services.
