This communications concentration provides the
student with both the theory and production practices of technical writing
and editing used by industry and government. It includes course work
in the writing, editing, design, and production of technical reports,
proposals, and manuals in addition to professional experience and hands-on
practice with computer hardware and software. The curriculum is designed
to provide breadth of knowledge and multitask capability.
