Auraria tops
in renewable energy

Auraria’s purchase of 17 million kilowatt hours of wind Renewable
Energy Certificates, or RECs, took effect on July 1, making it the No.
1 purchaser of renewable energy among higher education facilities in
the state, according to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Green
Power Partnership.
