Weekend split déja vu for 'Runners

Playing their first set of “real” Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches this season on Sept. 8 and 9 at the Auraria Event Center, the Roadrunners volleyball team repeated the pattern of the previous weekend’s preliminary tournament by bouncing back after an initial two losses to win two of their first four regional matches.

The Metro women’s soccer team continued its Division-II dominance last week in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. Though the road – which was full of nasty elements last week for Metro – hasn’t been as smooth for the Roadrunners so far this season, the results have been exactly the same. They win.
