Petersen scores three tries against Air
Force 'B' The Metro State rugby team cruised to its second straight blowout victory of the season as they dropped Air Force’s “B” team 53-0 on Oct. 1 at the University of Denver. In the Roadrunners first two games this year, they have outscored their opponents 95-3. Zach Peterson led the Roadrunners as he scored three tries, while junior Jason Deagle scored twice. junior Jason Key led the ’Runners forwards with hard tackles and disrupted the Falcons’ attempts to establish any momentum. Metro had scheduled Adams State, but the Grizzlies cancelled and Air Force elected to suit up against the ’Runners. Metro’s next game is at 1 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Auraria baseball field against Western State. |
