The best of the rest Even some of the best pictures can remain unseen. There are many reasons for a beautiful photograph to end up on the cutting room floor: lack of space, content, relevance, the entire story being cut, design limitations – the list goes on and on. At the end of the year we like to run a retro-Metrospective – a best-of-the-best spread with our favorite photos from the year. This year I decided to do the best-of-the-rest, the photos I wish we could have run, that should have made it but didn’t.
