Obama addressed a crowd numbering in the thousands in Magness Arena. He also spoke briefly to another group who gathered outside the arena due to lack of space. Obama won Colorado’s Democratic caucus on Feb. 5. It was the first time in history Colorado participated in the annual “Super Tuesday” contest when a majority of states hold primaries or caucuses. Mitt Romney won Colorado’s Republican caucus. At press time Hillary Clinton and John McCain led their respective parties in number of delegates.
