Metro men’s basketball steamrolled to the end of the regular season on a six-game winning streak after rallying to knock off the Colorado School of Mines Feb. 22 at Auraria Events Center, giving the Roadrunners the sixth seed in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament.

Metro women’s softball team split their weekend set Feb. 23 and 24 at the Migh High Invitational at the Hidden Lakes Complex in Arvada.

Metro brings out brooms vs. Bulldogs

For the second weekend in a row Metro’s baseball team swept their opposition Feb. 23 spoiling the weekend opener for the Concordia Bulldogs by beating them 5-2 and 9-1 at Auaria Field.
