Foundation for funding

The site of the new Auraria science building continues to grow as crews prepare to lay the building’s foundation. The project was dealt a temporary blow last week when funding was unexpectedly cut due to a state budget shortfall. Gov. Bill Ritter and other state legislators have made assurances that funding will be fully restored through the completion of the project. Full Story
