Prom Dress ExchangeAlpha phi hosts the 6th annual prom dress ExchangeThe Denver Alumnae of Alpha Phi and CCHS Hop4All are pleased to announce the 6th Annual prom Dress Exchange on Sunday, March 20, 2004, from 10:00am – 1:00 pm at the Marriot Denver Southeast (6363 E Hampden Ave, Denver). This event allows young ladies the chance to experience high school prom without the financial burden. Alpha Phi is excited to be involved in this heart-warming event for the community. This year's event promises a variety of dresses in all sizes, styles, colors and lengths. Shoes, handbags, wraps and jewelry will also be available. Marketing Class to Sell Adventure Water BottlesDr. Mick Jackowski of the MSCD Marketing Department has designed an exciting new class for Marketing majors and minors. Seminar in Marketing Management, or MarketArm as the class calls themselves, prepares students for the real world business environment by allowing students to operate an actual business model. The poly-carbon water bottles are durable and dishwasher-safe, and sport a new design. They will be sold in a 34-oz. size with a non-spillable cap that attaches easily to backpacks and luggage. Designed in blue and red, they also boast a wide mouth - ideal for ice cubes. The water bottles will be available for purchase campus-wide after spring break or through the Marketing Department. 2nd Annual Women’s March and Circle for Peace – This event is part of the international Code Pink for Peace/Rosea Alerta campaign of women opposed to war. The Wicked Women of Film Noir ‚ This presentation will explore the creation and cultural setting of film noir and the women who inhabited it. Womenís Spirituality Festival: Different Paths One Journey ‚ This all-day celebration of womenís spirituality will offer tarot readings, psychic counseling, aura healings, books, arts crafts and jewelry.
