Mat Pilates – Mondays 12-1pm, Thursdays 12-1pm and 6-6:45pm in St. Francis Atrium. It improves flexibility and increases strength. Wear comfortable clothes. Mats are provided. Nia – Mondays 11am-12pm. NIA blends dance, martial arts, Tai Chi and Yoga to create a truly holistic fitness experience class. For all levels Qigong (Chinese Yoga) – Tuesdays 11am-12pm in St. Francis Atrium. Qigong is a health cultivation system from China, practiced by millions that can contribute to vital health and calm centeredness. Yoga For Everyone – Six classes weekly. Mondays 5:30-6:45pm (Iyengar), Tuesdays 12-1pm (Hatha), Wednesdays 12-1pm (Gentle Yoga) and 5:15-6:15pm (Yoga Flow), Thursdays 5-6:30pm (Fitness Yoga) – all classes in St. Francis Atrium. Bonsell is an activist who helped to found the student organization MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan) during 1966/ 1977 on the Auraria Campus and helped start a contingent of the Brown Berets. He will discuss the origin of MEChA on Auraria campus and how he helped to organize it plus his personal experiences as a servant of the Brown Berets organization. 5-7pm in Tivoli 444. November 10 Native American Spirituality facilitated by Lakota Powerlessness Workshop – The focus of this workshop is to provide a forum in which individuals can share their experiences of powerlessness.
