The Student Government Assembly election is on hold indefinitely and will likely not happen this Spring.

In addition to an election commission hearing April 28, the commission held a brief meeting May 3 to disclose information to defendants SGA Attorney General William Safford and presidential candidate Zoë Williams so that a second hearing could be held in which the defendants are able to properly defend themselves.  more  >>>

Driving past it on 1-25, you can see the transformation slowly beginning.

The top six to seven stores of the tower have new, clear glass windows, which are slowly replacing the many cracked, shattered and darkly tinted ones that were in place for so long. The future of the Center for Visual Arts will become uncertain after July 1 when a proposed budget cut and structural management changes are to take place.

Created as a college art gallery in 1990, the CVA, located at 1734 Wazee St., has featured prominent local, national, and international artists with an accent on various multi-cultural themes and ideas.
