Sept. 11, 906 Curtis St.
Auraria Police responded to an alarm at Einstein Bros. Bagels and arrested Julio Acosta, an employee at Einstein's, on an outstanding warrant for a traffic violation.

Sept. 10, South Classroom
Larbi Sellaoui reported graffiti in a stall of the first floor southwest men's restroom. The graffiti found was written in ballpoint pen and included racial epithets, violent remarks and three backward swastikas.

Sept. 9, 1150 Block of 11th St.
Karl Apricio called police to investigate a van with broken windows. The police report states that the windows were broken when an unknown person attempted to pry them open. The van's owner did not find anything missing.

Sept. 9, 10th St. and Lawrence
Metro student Scott Goldstein was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a gaming violation.

Sept. 6, King Center
Corwin Gruebele, a member of the UCD staff, reported a burglary after noticing that ceiling tiles above his desk and in the lobby outside the office were missing or damaged. Police theorize that the perpetrator must have climbed through the ceiling from the lobby into the office. Gruebele said he noticed nothing missing or damaged.
