Well folks, it has been too many weeks since I last sat down to write a ranting synopsis of the ills of society -- that term rant being something which most people have been more than willing to label whatever it is that I actually do here, and something that I am not necessarily in agreement with. But it has never been my business to tell people what to think, and never would I venture to try, for that matter.
But politicians on the other hand, well, they make a living out of manipulating people's thinking, which is most certainly and distinctly immoral. And now it seems that they have even taken to stealing ideas that I had already put into print months ago. Plagiarism: another distinctly immoral act.
Hillary Clinton told reporters that one of the reasons she should be welcome to stay in this treacherous Democratic horse-race for the presidential nomination is that Barack Obama stands some chance of being gunned down, making a comparison between now and 1968 when Bobby Kennedy was shot dead by a man who many claim was brainwashed by nefarious forces deeply involved in American politics. It is unclear exactly what might have been running through Clinton's mind when she brought the subject into light, but you can rest assured that the Clintons will have no problem eliminating Barack Obama in whatever manner necessary should the opportunity present itself.
Some people claim that Clinton made a Freudian slip, and others who either know or know of the Clintons intimately are treating this as a final threat of political Armageddon and have rushed to fill their basements with canned food and bottled water in preparation for an oncoming shit-rain of Clintonian authority over this land of feeble consumers. But those people are cowards. A true American would simply bash a saxophone over Hillary Clinton's face for making such damning threats.
I cannot claim to have been the first to fall upon the notion that Barack Obama is probably in somebody's crosshairs, but I was certainly the first I know of to speak about it without reservation and in print no less. After all, there is a clear possibility that the unthinkable may happen.
Indeed, I made note of the risk of Obama's assassination in an article printed months ago in this very newspaper. I wrote that I am still on the sideline about whether or not Barack Obama is the man who we can finally say is the anti-Christ, but if he is not the face of Beelzebub, then there is a good chance, based on nothing more than history and the ominously vile nature of American politics, that some Jesus-loving, Aryan-devoted lunatic from Georgia or possibly even Puerto Rico will try to shoot him.
It has long been the business of white people to put a stop to any kind of social, political or economic advancement of non-whites, and our time, though many will argue to the contrary, is no different. It is true that blatant discrimination is generally frowned upon by many, but discrimination has never needed to be blatant in order to exist, and it would be folly for all of us to pretend that Barack Obama can soften the hearts and minds of people who think anyone with even a slightly different shade of skin is born with a clear ambition to filch from and destroy white society. Which happens to be exactly the way that many people think, and a casual stroll through certain communities in this country will testify to that.
To make a comparison between Bobby Kennedy and Barack Obama in terms of a possible assassination or any other unfortunate occurrence was not a smart political move by Hillary Clinton, especially when her reputation and her political future ride on exactly how well she handles what is more than likely to be her rather amusing defeat in this primary.
But to show up on this campus and then, months later, bring into her professional spotlight this delirious notion, which I was responsible for long ago, was an even less intelligent maneuver, especially since the Clinton people have no idea of the secret political power that I myself command. The Clintons have no concept of what awaits them when they degrade themselves to this level of self-mockery and petty threats.
But never mind all of that. The treacherous Clinton family will lose the race against their own bad karma soon enough. What is important now is that we recognize the fact that Barack Obama and his followers have overcome the Clinton political monster, and now that monster is making vague threats and clinging to laughable arguments in just the same manner as any other broke and beaten loser.
Yes indeed, folks. The air is more alive now that we have seen a political dynasty eat shit. But the idea that Barack Obama is a marked man is at least morbid and very disturbing, and to pretend as though there are not people in this country willing to take drastic measures to halt the progress of a black man would be foolish. But don't take it up with me. Hillary Clinton is your man.
