Metro men's cross country team earned the No. 16 ranking in the national poll, and sixth in the central region.
Head coach, Peter Julian believes the women's team is looking good and there will be a dramatic improvement from last year. Julian has high hopes for the men's team and feels they will go far this year.
"The men's team is in a position to do things at a national level and be one of the top 10 in the country," Julian said.
Cross country will run Oct. 4 in Boulder at the CU Shootout.
