Welcome to the Institute for Women’s Studies and Services website. The Institute offers a unique combination of an academic women’s studies program with the types of services and activities typically offered through a women’s center. In addition to information about women’s studies and the types of services we offer, the Institute website contains a database of community scholarships to assist students in seeking financial support for their education and information about local community resources for students in need of resources. We also sponsor a number of events and activities throughout the academic year focused on feminism and social justice. The Institute's goal is to raise $5000 with all of our allocated proceeds to be distributed among our student scholarships. You can participate in this event by any of the following means:
- Purchasing a table at the event for $3500 (Great way to reward your employees!)
- Purchasing individual tickets for $150 each
- Contributing an item to the silent or live auction
The Institute is an Institutional Member of the National Women's Studies Association.
The Institute is a Regional Campus Partner of the Southwest Institute for Research on Women.
The Institute is a community partner of the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking.
