CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
We sponsor a variety of speakers, programs, cultural activities, workshops, leadership training opportunities, and conferences with a focus on women's issues and concerns. Each year, we sponsor a campus-wide celebration of Women's History Month in March and an Outstanding Women's Awards ceremony in May. Angela Davis, Leslie Feinberg, Wilma Mankiller, Ntozake Shange, Gerda Lerner, Dolores Huerta, Gloria Steinem, bell hooks, Ana Castillo, and Shirley Chisholm are among the leaders and scholars who have visited the campus to meet and speak with students. We distribute information on campus and community news, events, and services through a bulletin board and resource rack located outside of Central Classroom 212. Contact Joanna Snawder for additional information.

Denim Day
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, wear your denim to protest
the 1999 Italian Supreme Court decision against a rape victim. The court
