The American Anthropological Association website is very helpful not just for getting in touch with the organization but because they provide a downloadable version of the AAA Style Guide! Use the final pages of the guide to assist you in citing your sources and refer to the first part of the guide for writing tips and conventions germane to AAA. Make sure you have the CMS (Chicago Manual of Style) nearby for reference; the AAA guide references it frequently.

Download the AAA Guide for Adobe Acrobat

Notes: Your download time for the AAA Guide will be very, very long on a dial-up connection. Try to download the AAA guide while you are on campus or while you have access to another type of high-speed access.
