Beginning her ninth year at Metro, Rosalie McCall-Johnson is the senior tutor at the Writing Center. A graduate of Austin College in Texas with a B.A. in English and an M. Ed. at CU-Boulder, Rosalie is sometimes considered bilingual as a result of her Texas accent and folksy dialect.

A former professional pipe organist as well an English teacher in Jefferson County schools for many years, Rosalie thrives on reading; writing; playing in the dirt; walking; and wandering around the United States, retracing haunts of favorite writers. Rosalie lives in Arvada with her husband, one rather large dog (maggie, a Germa Shepherd/Rottweiler mix) and a motley group of raccoons who visit her yard nightly to terrorize the neighborhood and to scrounge for food.
