Beginning her ninth year at Metro, Rosalie McCall-Johnson is the senior tutor at the Writing Center. A graduate of Austin College in Texas with a B.A. in English and an M. Ed. at CU-Boulder, Rosalie is sometimes considered bilingual as a result of her Texas accent and folksy dialect.

A former professional pipe organist as well an English teacher in Jefferson County schools for many years, Rosalie thrives on reading; writing; playing in the dirt; walking; and wandering around the United States, retracing haunts of favorite writers. Ask her about her camel ride in Tangiers, Morocco.

Rosalie lives in Arvada with her husband, one rather large dog (maggie, a Germa Shepherd/Rottweiler mix) and a motley group of raccoons who visit her yard nightly to terrorize the neighborhood and to scrounge for food.
