Although my recently earned English degree from Metro fully qualifies me for a managerial position at K-Mart, I have chosen another less-trodden path and become the newest tutor at the Writing Center. While this position may seem less glamorous than my other current career options and there is no shiny red vest involved, I believe my talents will be most appreciated here, among other writers. I do a lot of creative writing in my own time, including poetry, nonfiction, and screenwriting. In addition, I am currently filming a short documentary. The remaining hours of my week not involving writing or helping other writers are spent listening to records, singing with my band, cooking, drinking wine, and going to see as much live music and film as possible. My plans for the future involve graduate school and rock stardom.
